RDs must complete a degree and internship in nutrition, dietetics, public health or a related field from accredited colleges and universities. RDs must also complete a national registration exam and maintain registration through continuing education.

Advice from the Camas Center Dietitian

Nutrition is an essential component of life that I am passionate about. It is important that people understand I am not going to be critical of what they are eating or how they look. Instead, I’d like to help people understand how nutrition can help them lead a healthy and active lifestyle. Nutrition greatly affects health and well-being no matter your size, shape or heredity, which in turn may greatly impact your quality of life.

Whether you have questions or concerns about your nutrition, or a general interest in nutrition, please call me or the clinic reception (509-447-7111) and you can set up an appointment. While general health appointments are more common, a nutrition evaluation can help keep you on the right path for managing current health concerns and/or prevent problems that may develop in the future. I look forward to providing you with quality nutrition services!
